Rose & Cam’s Tasmanian Barn Wedding
Not even the Tasman Sea could keep today’s pair apart. Tasmanian native Rose met Cam while visiting Auckland for work and after a year of travelling back and forth she finally made the move to New Zealand. With family and friends in both places, Rose and Cam chose Stanley, Tasmania for the wedding and Highfield House became their picturesque backdrop.
Chelsea Parsons is a godsend for anyone who feels awkward in front of the camera and according to this couple she has a real knack for putting people at ease, “We are so lucky we found Chelsea,” says Rose. “She is super talented and an incredibly kind and fun lady to be around. Neither of us enjoy having our photo taken but Chelsea did an amazing job of making us feel really relaxed and comfortable. Our bridal party loved her as well!”
An old Victorian estate circa 1860’s, Highfield House has tons of natural charm and stylist Bek Burrows managed to pull together a look that enhanced the historical homestead’s original features. Native flowers were all it took to add some ambience to the stone chapel while the reception was held in the onsite barn, under strings of Edison bulbs. Rose tells us “The location is so stunning that we knew it would be worth the long trip most of our guests would be making to be there.”
