A Bohemian Wedding Shoot at The Pinnacles
Ominous skies and the stark landscape of limestone rock formations at The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park made an epic backdrop for Hannah and Brent’s wedding shoot.
Lilli Waters of I Got You Babe captured the Massachusetts-based pair out in the elements during a trip downunder to visit Hannah’s WA family, and they took the opportunity to road-trip and stop for snaps along the way.
The couple have been in each other’s lives for a long time – they attended the same primary school but weren’t properly introduced until after they graduated uni and they’ve been together ever since.
“We got married last year back in Massachusetts, but since I grew up visiting my family in Western Australia, it was really important to us to also have photos of the two of us there.” Hannah tells us. A photographer herself, she’d had her eye on Lilli’s work for some time and jumped at the chance to have her capture them.
“We wanted the session to be relaxed and adventurous, and to capture the otherworldly landscape around The Pinnacles.” Hannah shares. “I wore a bohemian gown from BHLDN and brought my wedding veil. Brent wore one of his favourite Ben Sherman suits.”
A wildly lush, native bouquet by Botanica Naturalis added to the wedding feel, while the abundant eucalyptus leaves were a sure sign that the pair weren’t in Boston anymore!
