Christchurch cuties Angella and Kevin tied the knot in a sweet and intimate ceremony at Stromboli Olives, complete with self-styled tipi and a beautiful garden backdrop. Paul Tatterson captured the relaxed affair and we can’t help but smile – this grinning pair’s happiness is contagious!

“There was no real theme to the wedding,” Angella tells us. “Our main focus was to keep it simple and not too overdone, but at the same time have an airy, lovely and laid back vibe.” Channeling this atmosphere was easy with a summer wedding and we were impressed to learn that this creative couple DIY’d all of their styling and even designed their invitations, signage and favours.

Mrs Bottomley’s Flowers were responsible for the scattered wildflower table arrangements and bouquets, that worked perfectly with the calico tipi (supplied by Kiwitipis). Contemporary music outfit, Kitchen Collective kept Angella, Kevin and their guests entertained and on their feet well into the night, and that’s always the sign of a good party in our books!
