Tahnee & Michael’s Adelaide Wedding at Published ArtHouse
Inspired by the quirky setting of Published ArtHouse, Tahnee and Michael’s eclectic wedding was a little bit industrial, a little bit 1920s, and a whole lot ‘them’. Kate Pardey captured the Adelaide affair, which kicked off with an intimate ceremony at the couple’s local green, Veale Gardens.
The central location and creative vibe of Published ArtHouse made the the choice of reception venue and easy one. “We decided early on that it was the perfect spot,” Says Tahnee. “I’ve always loved the look of nature against industrial structures, and because the Arthouse is basically just a big warehouse I thought having lots of flowers and greenery would look lovely in the space.”
Choosing a photographer was also a no-brainer, and Tahnee and Michael couldn’t have been happier with Kate Pardey. “We would 100% recommend Kate. We’re not overly gushy, affectionate-in-public kind of people, and we’re not used to posing for photos, and she respected that completely.”
When it came to popping the question, Michael went all out, choosing a Scottish Castle to do the deed. After an afternoon of falconry and archery, and a trip to the day spa for Tahnee, the couple checked into their room which was located in a castle turret. Michael had prepared Champagne and carefully placed the ring box (housing a stunning Julia deVille ring, no less) for Tahnee to find. Nicely done, Mike!
