The merging of cultures always makes for a colourful celebration and Jess and Matt’s Balinese Mexican Fiesta wedding was no exception. With their family and friends in tow, these two tied the knot destination-style in the idyllic gardens of Seminyak’s Villa Sunrise and we reckon they’ve got the Dia de Muertos vibe downpat.

Sydney based photographer Gui Jorge made the trek to Seminyak and it’s safe to say he captured the magic. Rainbow streamers, confetti and fiesta-inspired styling fit perfectly with the tropical atmosphere and the surrounding rice paddies made for a v lush backdrop.

An events entrepreneur and DJ by trade, Matt discovered the venue after meeting the owner on one of his tours, and he and Jess knew it was the perfect venue from the get-go. “We’ve always loved Bali and loved the idea of a destination wedding,” Jess tells us. “Having all our friends and family in one of our favourite parts of the world on holiday just seemed like the best way to do it.”
