Channeling a raw, native aesthetic, the shoot took place at Amaroo – a private property nestled in the Noosa hinterlands – and its natural beauty was the perfect backdrop for a bohemian romance.
Earthy colours and textures featured heavily – from the ceremony on the grass-lined jetty to the cowhides, sheepskins and muslin draped makeshift table – creating a feeling of warmth and decadence despite the natural surroundings.
According to Lovebird, the intimate picnic-style feast was an ode ‘the joy of food, flavour and quality time with friends’, consisting of a tapas spread of cheese, nuts, berries, honey and herbs put together by Spoon Fed Catering, plus some sweet treats from Wild Child Catering.
Both barefoot, this babin’ couple had their curls tamed by Coastal Style Mobile Hairdressing, and Tasleema Nigh kept makeup natural – there’s nothing like that sun-kissed glow. The bride wore a gorgeous White Bohemian lace gown, with a feathered collar, while the groom kept things cool and relaxed in a crisp George X Betty shirt, mustard rolled chinos and a bow tie.
Mondo Floral Designs crafted the lush, unstructured bouquet with rich berry tones, creamy neutrals and a wild gathering of foliage, the perfect complement to the ivory and nude palette.
A campfire singalong was the perfect way to wind down before the couple and their guests retired to their luxe bell tents from Pitch Luxury Camping after their evening under the stars.
