Bel & Eddie’s Urban Melbourne Wedding at Firecracker HQ
When It’s Beautiful Here snaps a wedding, we know it’s going to be one to remember, but we weren’t expecting anything quite like Bel and Eddie’s! Taking advantage of Melbourne’s brand new venue Firecracker HQ, this stylish couple decided to push tradition aside to enjoy a unique and vibrant day, complete with an unforgettable floral wedding dress.
While many couples are eager to say their I do’s, Bel and Eddie spent the early afternoon together with their closest family and friends, which they say definitely helped take the nerves away! After a ‘first look’, they jumped into a mini bus for a few more portraits with the bridal party, and then it was off to join 140 guests at Firecracker HQ in Northcote.
Bel and Eddie say they wanted their venue to do the talking, and talk it certainly did! The couple took Firecracker’s warehouse vibes, architectural features, and retro pink and red colour palette to create an urban wedding that was unique and so very ‘them’.
For the ceremony, a vibrant flower wall by Marina Wilson’s adorned the blank canvas venue, while plush furniture from Dann Event Hire softened the industrial space. From there, the Firecracker team took care of the rest – from ceremony to reception, and table to tipple, they made sure every detail was taken care of, including a cheeky 9pm Whisky window!
But we can all agree that Bel’s A-line number by Claire Home Designs truly stole the show. Blush tulle created the base for sapphire flowers and emerald leaves to dance across her bodice and down the skirt. The final touch to Bel’s threads? A blush tulle veil, which made for some unforgettable frames!
