It’s one thing to plan a Paris-themed wedding, but to swap vows in front of the Eiffel Tower and to cruise the River Seine, under the stars – well that’s just a dream come true. Eli and William eloped to the city of love for an intimate Parisienne adventure, packing their wedding attire, a few of their closest friends and photographers Bayly & Moore.
“A few serendipitous events took place, that encouraged us to get married in the City of Love.” Eli tells us – For one, they currently reside on Paris Street. Secondly, just prior to their engagement Eli purchased a monogram from a store called The Paris Market and thirdly, Eli’s best friend stumbled upon a ‘Paris is always a good idea’ postcard whilst chatting on the phone about the possibility of a wedding in la Ville-Lumière. With Cedric (their driver) and Soph and Si of Bayly & Moore in tow, these sweethearts ventured from Champ de Mars to the banks of the Seine and they have some sage advice for others considering an unconventional wedding, “Don’t feel pressured to have a big wedding or a wedding you can’t afford. If you plan on eloping or having a destination wedding go for it and don’t forget to have fun!”
