Drunk on Love – Vintage Inspiration by Lilly & Lotus
Aptly named ‘Drunk On Love’, Lilly & Lotus Events were inspired to create a captivating styled shoot on the Two Churches property in Queensland‘s Emu Park. Captured by Chantelle Stagg, Danielle of Lilly & Lotus explained that she couldn’t wait to make the most of this alluring venue.
“I came to discover this little slice of heaven when I was doing a wedding on a neighboring property… the churches were facing each other around a simple courtyard, with a grand old homestead overlooking it – it’s a venue dreams are made of!”
Pair an idyllic venue with a candlelit, bucolic table setting – and you have yourselves a romantic and enchanting setup, with the addition of stationery by Hey-Ya Creative Design and decorative signage by Serendipity Signs.
Catering elements quite literally took the cake, with a marbled cake, touched with ribbons of gold by Hey Sugar. Cakes by Ayden, and topper by Blush Designs.
Unstructured bouquets of foliage and deep florals by Lilly & Lotus complemented the bride’s Pronovias lace gown from White Lily Couture. Her striking look was styled by Rachel at Bloom Artistry, whilst Natalie at NG Hair worked her magic to create a soft, floral adorned up-do.
The groom meanwhile looked sharp in a suit by Swarv Menswear, with his mane styled to perfection by Thieves & Beggars.
